After 5 years in the cutthroat PR world, with clients featured in publications like Forbes and the New York Times, I was unexpectedly laid off in 2019. Yep, pre-pandy, I lost my job and had no idea what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. But, for the first time since high school, I had the chance to step back and assess what my heart actually wanted. Spoiler: it wasn’t to spend the rest of my working life at a backbreaking 9-5.

My business started because I was craving a connection with other chronically ill women. What started as an active social media presence quickly became a booked out health coaching business. But I realized that the people who were most interested in me weren’t there to learn how to manage their health while living with a chronic illness–they were there to learn how I started a successful online business. Using my PR experience, I pivoted into the simplicity-loving, purpose-driven coach you know and love today, and the rest is history…
